Creamy and fresh curried peas and spinach loaded with Indian spices and coconut milk. This lightened up dish is accompanied by sweet naan bread.

Curried peas and spinach dish is made with these ingredients:
Indian spices mix: 1 tea spoon of each cumin , turmeric, chilli flakes, garam masala , ground coriander and ground ginger
salt to taste
1 can of coconut milk
1 kg frozen peas
500 g frozen spinach
dash of garlic puree
oil for cooking
Mix the salt, turmeric, garam masala, ground ginger, ground coriander, cumin and chilli, if using, in a small bowl.
Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and add onion. Add garlic and the spice mix and stir to combine. Add the peas and a can of coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Add the spinach leaves and stir until the spinach is wilted. Cook for 20 minutes. Serve with a dash of plain yogurt and herbs of your choice.
